PRIVACY POLICY
ScoreDino privacy policy
This privacy policy explains calculator data privacy, guide comments, email contact, and technical information used to operate ScoreDino. The site uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand website usage. It does not save your calculator entries as a score history.
Effective September 11, 2026What happens to calculator entries?
Calculations run in your browser. Entered scores and targets are held in the current page; ScoreDino does not submit them to an application server, save them to an account, or store them in browser storage.
Reloading the page clears those entries. If you choose to copy a result into an email, that information becomes part of the message you send.
What technical data is used to deliver the site?
Hosting and security providers receive technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. This may include an IP address, requested page, browser and device information, timestamps, and security events.
This technical information is separate from the numbers entered into the calculator. Access controls used by a private preview may also be operated by the preview platform under its own privacy terms.
What happens when you leave a guide comment?
The guide comment form asks for a first name or nickname and your comment. It does not ask for an account or email address. Submitted comments remain private while they are reviewed. If approved, the name or nickname, comment, and submission date become visible on the relevant guide.
For spam prevention, the comment system uses a short-lived pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions. ScoreDino does not place the raw IP address in its comment records, although hosting and security providers may process technical information as described above.
Comment submissions and moderation records are kept only as needed to operate discussions, prevent abuse, address removal requests, and meet legal obligations. Do not include your full name, email, school, student ID, location, test-registration details, or other personal information in a public comment.
What information do we receive when you contact us?
Emailing ScoreDino shares your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. An email provider processes the message so it can be delivered and managed. We use correspondence to respond, investigate reported problems, and maintain appropriate records.
Please do not send passwords, student IDs, payment information, or complete score reports.
Who may receive information, and how long is it kept?
Service providers may process technical or contact information to host, secure, and support the site or deliver email. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate misuse and protect the service.
Information should be retained only as long as needed for its stated purpose, necessary records, security, or legal obligations. Providers’ own terms and retention practices also apply to information they process independently.
How does ScoreDino handle children’s privacy?
ScoreDino is intended for students aged 13 and older, parents, and educators. It does not knowingly target children under 13 or knowingly collect their personal information. Teen users are expected, but should avoid sharing unnecessary personal details.
If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian to contact us rather than sending personal information yourself. If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has shared personal information with ScoreDino, email hello@scoredino.com so we can investigate and arrange appropriate removal.
This statement does not replace any obligations that apply under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
What choices do you have?
You can use the calculator without contacting us or leaving a comment. You can also ask to access, correct, or delete information you have sent, including an approved guide comment, subject to applicable law and necessary verification.
Send privacy requests to hello@scoredino.com. We may need limited additional information to identify the relevant correspondence and protect it from unauthorized access.
What about linked websites and policy changes?
Links to College Board, Khan Academy, and other resources lead to services with their own privacy practices. Review those policies before signing in or sharing information.
We will update this policy when ScoreDino’s features or data practices change. The published page’s effective date will identify the applicable version.
