MORE THAN A NUMBER
Understand your score.
Plan your next step.
A practice result is useful when you know what it means. See the conversion, explore a target, and decide what to review next.
How to calculate your LSAT practice score
- Match the PrepTest number. Choose the current-format test you actually completed. The same raw total can convert differently on another test.
- Count correct answers in scored sections. Enter the raw total, or switch to section entry. The section view labels the unscored section and excludes it automatically.
- Read the conversion. We look up your total in that test’s table. Then we match the scaled score with LSAC’s separate percentile data.
A worked example: PrepTest 101
Suppose you get 20 correct in Reading Comprehension, 18 in the first Logical Reasoning section and 20 in the second. That gives you 58 correct answers across the three scored sections. On PrepTest 101, the cited table converts 58 to 160.
The 2023–2026 LSAC percentile table places 71.06% of scores below 160. That does not mean you answered 71.06% of questions correctly. Your raw percentage and your percentile describe different things.
Which tests and data does this calculator use?
This version supports current-format PrepTests 101–158, except 151: 57 tests in total. ScoreDino uses test-specific lookup tables for the supported PrepTests rather than one universal conversion formula. Percentiles come directly from LSAC’s 2023–2026 table.
PrepTest 151 is excluded because the source table omits raw totals 25 and 52. We do not fill gaps with invented conversions. Tests outside this range, old-format exams and LSAT-Flex are not supported. A matching number on a different test format is not interchangeable.
All supported raw totals use direct lookups. There is no universal percentage formula, averaging of tables or prediction of future performance. For a definitive record of a LawHub practice test, use the result in your LawHub account.
Use the target as a review prompt
On PrepTest 101, 64 correct reaches 165. If your current result is 58 correct, that is a gap of six questions on this particular test. Review your misses for patterns: a conclusion you misread, an unsupported inference or a passage you rushed. The next test may use a different conversion table.
For the bigger picture, read what makes an LSAT score useful for your goals and how raw scores become scaled scores.
Turn those review priorities into a weekly routine with the LSAT study planner. Choose a realistic time budget without treating a schedule as a score prediction.
Calculator questions
Is this an official LSAT score?
No. It is a practice-test conversion using the cited table. LSAC issues official scores. This tool does not predict admission or your next test-day result.
Why does my score change when I select another test?
Each test has its own conversion table. Use only the table for the test you completed; switching tests to obtain a higher result makes the conversion meaningless.
Do wrong answers subtract points?
No. Your raw total counts correct answers. Do not subtract an additional penalty for an incorrect answer.
Can this predict my score from a short practice set?
No. Complete the scored sections of the selected PrepTest. Short or mixed practice sets do not have the same conversion.
